The Centre for Contemporary Latin American Studies in collaboration with the Student’s Latin American Society, will hold the first EDINBURGH LATIN AMERICAN SYMPOSIUM on Monday 17 November, from 10am to 5pm, at Teviot’s Debating Hall.
The Symposium this year will verse on the political challenges of present-day Mexico. The speakers include eminent scholars from Mexico, Oxford and Madrid, as well as the Foreign Office's Americas Director.
The event will close with a lecture delivered by HE the Mexican Ambassador to the UK, and a reception. Lunch is also provided.
